This is a reconstruction, not gospel. A lot of old Discord history disappeared with deleted servers, banned accounts and people rewriting events years later. Where sources disagree, this page keeps the wording loose instead of picking a side for no reason.
The focus here is the clan and Grade scene: the groups that led into C Grade, the Coalition line, A Grade, UKK, the big C Grade period and what survived afterwards.
The raiding scene already existed before the Grade System became normal language. The Coalition, S.S.S. and The Internet Army were active around the same wider anti-fandom / raiding space, while a separate alliance scene included Hells Angels and the clans later remembered as A Grade.
Old records describe The Coalition as a network of servers run by BoBBiN. It became important enough that the later name Coalition Grade was built around it.
A Grade meant Alliance Grade, not "the best grade". Surviving lists place Hells Angels, The Notorious Templaro, Synergy/Energy, Red and Wine, Osvigati and Polox Syndicate in that scene.
The old alliance is usually remembered as the Bagrand or Barram Alliance. The exact naming and early structure are messy in surviving sources, so that part should be treated as community memory rather than a clean paper trail.
By the 2019–2020 period, Coalition-linked servers were spread across the wider raiding and anti-fandom scene. Chaos Gang, GDR and other early groups operated around the same ecosystem, alongside older groups like S.S.S. and TIA.
One surviving account says Hells Angels eventually hit The Coalition and the original network was not properly rebuilt. The name survived anyway. That is the important bit: The Coalition died, Coalition Grade did not.
The best preserved version of the UKK origin says YurianHyperGG came out of a Hells Angels split, formed KONA, and that KONA later became UKK / UЖ.
UKK became one of the longest-running old clans and a major keeper of the scene's terminology and lore. Yurian is also widely credited with formalising the Grade System used by C Graders to sort the different communities around them.
C Grade stopped meaning "literal Coalition member" and became the name of the wider clan community descended from it. UKK, CSC, GDR, URA, Chaos Gang, NOKKO, 4th Brigade and many smaller clans moved through the scene. Clans appeared, merged, split, died and got remade constantly.
The community also developed its own internal status language: Lower C, Middle C, Upper C and CC for clans considered to have reached the top level of influence.
Angels of Spades (AOS) is recorded as starting in 2021. 4th Brigade became another major name in the later C Grade period and had repeated conflicts with groups coming in from the mapping side of the scene.
The Knights Templar (TKT), founded by Syracuse, also belongs to the old C Grade generation and survived into the current scene rather than being a new clan using the old label.
By roughly 2022, the old scene was thinning out. A lot of the names people associated with C Grade were dead, inactive or reduced to friend groups. UKK carried on in some form, but the wider community no longer had one clear centre.
This is also when crossovers became harder to ignore. Mapping clans, nation groups, O Grade people and C Grade clans mixed constantly, so a clan could have one origin and later be treated as part of another grade.
Syracuse created GCAD — Grand Coalition of Anti-Degenerates as an attempt to pull the C Grade scene back together. Public pages from the period also record BoBBiN reviving a Coalition group of his own. The revival was messy, fractured and did not restore one permanent Coalition.
GCAD was later abandoned by Syracuse. The important result was not the organisation itself, but proof that old C Grade people and names were still around and could pull a community back together.
The main old C Grade clans still known to be operating are TKT, AOS and 4th Brigade. UKK may still exist in some form, but its current status is less clear. The original Coalition is not functioning as the centre of the scene.
That leaves a strange situation: the old Grade vocabulary survived better than the organisations that originally controlled it. The current idea behind Clan Grades is to keep that vocabulary usable without pretending the scene never changed.
